The winery Domaine Oudin is a family-run business which was founded thirty-five years ago by Christiane and Jean Claude in Chichée. This Chardonnay grapevine grows on a blend of two parcels. The more well-known 1er Cru Vosgros is thirty-five years old and the other is a massal selection planted in 1955. The Chardonnay is aged for one year in stainless steel to keep the freshness of the wine. The clay in Vaucoupin and southwest exposure of the vineyard gives the wine a charming, silky style overall.

Taste
Nearly yellow in the glass with lovely scents of round citrus, beeswax and creamy minerality backed by limestone, sea coast minerality and supple inflexions of blooming lemon trees. The palate is loaded with juicy lemon and silken melon flavours that are followed by pounded stones and succulent acidity. This wine is dynamic young and can age gracefully for a decade or more.
